FAQ

How long does it take to make a custom suit?

The entire process takes approximately 80 hours of work , including cutting, tailoring, fitting, and finishing. During the process, approximately two meetings are required for intermediate fittings.

Depending on your availability the whole process takes between 3-6 months until delivery

What is the basic cost of a custom-made suit?

A two-piece suit starts at €4,500 (incl. 22% VAT) and includes a base fabric from our collection. The price may vary depending on the fabric choice and additional details.

Can I choose the fabric?

Of course: you can choose from fine fabrics from Italian and English wool mills and from our vintage archive of rare and precious wools.

Each fabric from our archive is available for a single dress, making it unique and special.

How many fittings are included?

Up to three intermediate fittings are planned to ensure a perfect fit and make any adjustments.

Can every detail be customized?

Yes, we guide you through choosing all the details including lining, buttons, pockets, embroidery and much more.

What kind of style can I request?

We have our own house style , which arises from the tradition of Milanese tailoring and evolves in a modern, light but always structured way.

Our jackets have natural shoulders and balanced proportions, with a slim fit that flatters the figure without constriction.

It is an essential and refined style, designed for those who desire a discreet yet recognizable elegance — a suit that combines comfort, precision and personality , defined as contemporary Milanese tailoring.

How can I book an appointment?

You can contact us by phone/WhatsApp at +39 366 29 69 965 or by email at info@vestificio.com

Do you offer online consultations or remote fittings?

We can arrange an initial online consultation or an initial meeting, but fittings require you to be present in the studio or during our trunk shows.

Can I request changes after receiving the dress?

Yes, any alterations are possible within a defined period (to be agreed upon) to ensure the ideal fit.

What happens if I change physically?

Our dresses are designed to last , following the natural evolution of your body. Thanks to the tailored construction and internal fabric reserves , we can make small adjustments to adapt the dress to a few extra or fewer pounds, always maintaining the original fit and balance.

A Vestificio suit is designed to last for years — not only in fabric, but also in shape.

Making a tailor-made suit

We create made-to-measure garments for men and women, following the time-honored tradition of Milanese tailoring.

Each piece is born from a meticulous and personalized artisanal process.

The tailoring process begins with a meeting where we discuss your needs and the garment's function.

We guide you in choosing fabrics, buttons, linings, and every detail, ensuring that every element contributes to creating a unique piece.

We take precise measurements and perform the first fitting, followed by any adjustments and finishing touches, until we achieve the final result: a tailored garment, made to last and enhance the wearer.

We specialize in outerwear: dresses, coats, shirts, overshirts, skirts, and everyday women's dresses, with a focus on fit, detail, and comfort.

We regularly organize trunk shows in the United States and Europe, offering those who cannot come to the atelier the opportunity to explore our collections, meet our artisans, and order made-to-measure garments directly.
